#BusinessAddicts A Finalist In Australian Podcast Awards

Created to help fellow business addicts build a business that supports a life they love, rather than a business that controls their life, #BusinessAddicts The Podcast by business owners Loren Bartley and Fiona Redding has been named as a finalist in the Business & Marketing category of the 2018 Australian Podcast Awards.

Helping Business Owners Feel Less Alone

#BusinessAddicts The Podcast was the brainchild of Point Cook local business owner, Loren Bartley. After years of wanting to start a podcast, in 2015 Loren took action and teamed up with close friend and fellow self-confessed business addict Fiona Redding from The Happiness Hunter to make her dream a reality.

Loren and Fiona have since published more than 100 episodes and interviewed some of the top business minds from around the world, including Pat Flynn from Smart Passive Income and fellow Australian Darren Rowse from ProBlogger. Both hosts share their expertise regularly on the podcast alongside their guests.

The podcast came about after Loren realised that her addiction to business was negatively impacting her home life and her health. She wanted to learn strategies, tips and tools that would help her better manage her business addiction, while at the same time, still grow a thriving business. In her quest to do so, she realised that many other business owners were experiencing the same kind of issues. Rather than embark on this journey alone, she decided to start a podcast that would help other business addicts both feed and better manage their business addiction.

The episode topics vary between business tips and strategies (helping feed the addiction) to mindset and health (helping manage the addiction), and many of them feature guests who bring in-depth subject matter expertise on topics that are most important to business owners. The latest episode discusses Loren’s key takeaways from her recent visit to San Diego where she spoke at Social Media Marketing World 2018, as well as attended Traffic & Conversion Summit 2018.

Fiona and I share stories of our individual business journeys (warts and all). Our listeners enjoy coming along on our journey and can relate to the ups and downs we experience in our businesses, making them feel like they are not alone.

The Happiness Hunter teaches and empowers people how to change their lives with the strategies, tools and mindset shifts required to live an abundant, successful and happy life, free of stress and anxiety. Her services include life coaching and healing services, workshops, retreats, keynote presentations and corporate wellbeing programs with a focus on life integration instead of work life balance. She also organises free community walks throughout Australia in an effort to increase happiness through human connection and was interviewed about it by Channel 9 in August 2017.
